Coordinating headquarters on issues of bringing the objects of the fund of protective structures of civil defense as those of strategic importance for ensuring the protection of the population into proper condition
Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of December 29, 2023 No. 1407 "On the formation of the Coordination Headquarters for the issues of bringing the objects of the fund of protective structures of civil protection as those of strategic importance for ensuring the protection of the population into proper condition"
The coordination headquarters was created within the framework of the implementation of the President's task and the decision of the National Security Council. Therefore, its appearance is a logical step for further communication and joint operational decision-making.
The goal of creating the Coordination Headquarters is cooperation between the responsible structures for a common result, namely, increasing the number of suitable civil protection structures throughout the territory of Ukraine.
The main tasks of the Coordination Headquarters are:
1. Promotion of coordination of activities of central and local executive bodies, state bodies, local self-government bodies, enterprises, institutions and organizations, regardless of the form of ownership, on issues of bringing the objects of the fund of protective structures of civil protection into proper condition.
2. Determination of the ways, mechanisms and methods of solving problematic issues that arise during the restoration of the objects of the fund of protective structures of civil defense in proper condition.
3. Preparation of proposals regarding: - the allocation of funds from the state and local budgets and other sources in accordance with the legislation to ensure that the objects of the fund of protective structures of civil defense are brought into proper condition; - prompt resolution of problematic issues related to bringing the objects of the fund of protective structures of civil defense into proper condition; - stimulating the attraction of investments to bring the objects of the fund of protective structures of civil protection into proper condition; - improvement of the regulatory and legal framework and improvement of the effectiveness of the activities of the executive power bodies, local self-government bodies on issues that belong to its competence.
